Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) collaborates with approximately 9,000 companies and social institutions across Germany, known as Duale Partner, to provide dual study programs. These programs are designed to qualify students as university graduates tailored to the specific needs of the partnering organizations within three years. The dual study system, which has been successful for over 40 years, combines high-quality teaching with practical experience. This approach ensures that students gain not only technical and methodological knowledge but also a high level of practical and social skills, preparing them optimally for their careers. As members of DHBW, companies and social institutions select their students, ensuring that study places are filled with the most suitable candidates. The low dropout rate of less than ten percent highlights the effectiveness of this system. Additionally, Duale Partner can engage in the strategic development of DHBW through committee work and contribute to the curriculum by sending their experts as lecturers, thereby enhancing the practical relevance of the education provided.
